Sigma Tau Delta is the International English Honor Society, comprised of nearly 600 chapters worldwide, 700 faculty sponsors, and inducting nearly 7,000 members each year. More information can be found at the official Sigma Tau Delta Website.
National Conventions - Each year Sigma Tau members from around the country gather for a large literary convention. Members can submit their creative and nonfiction works to be considered for presentation and awards at the convention. This year conference was held in Pittsburgh, PA. Check out the photo gallery.
Publications: Sigma Tau Delta has two publications providing news and displaying the talents of members worldwide.
The Rectangle - This literary magazine is published once a year in April, containing literary works written by Sigma Tau members around the world. Any member can submit their works to be considered for publication. OC graduate Erin O'Roke's essay on Henry James was published in the 2003 Rectangle.
The Newsletter - The Sigma Tau Delta Newsletter is a biannual publication for Sigma Tau members, containing news and reviews of recent events such as the national convention.
